The Indianapolis Colts overcame the odds to defeat the heavily favored Green Bay Packers on home turf, 30-27. The Colts defense had an outstanding second half, holding the explosive Packers offense to only one score, while rookie quarterback Andrew Luck threw for an impressive 362 yds, connecting with veteran wide reciever Reggie Wayne for the game winning touchdown with 35 seconds left on the clock. Packers kicker Mason Crosby missed a 51 yd field goal in the final seconds to seal an inspirational win for the underdog Colts. The Colts are recently suffering the absence of head coach Chuck Pagano who was just diagnosed with a treatable form of leukemia. Before the game, coach Pagano wrote a letter to the team saying not to win the game for him, but for the team.
